this shoe rack definitely solved a narrow hallway/space issue and they look just like they do in the pictures. the only thing i am disappointed by is that they don't hold heavier adult shoes (i.e. sneakers) without breaking. so far, they have only been able to hold adult sandals. since i bought these to also hold my kids shoes, which they do perfectly, overall i'm really happy.
